Pregame Cheer, Individual Training

Hey Kids,
Great practice tonight for those who came. For those who didn't, we're gonna try to run sporadic practices when-we-can but don't count on anything. That said, if you've got the time email Bonnie and even if most of the team and the captains aren't there you can organize a scrim or drills or even just tossing. When you work on stuff, identify the weakest part of your game and target that. If your catching hands are sketchy, have someone throw to you at varying speeds and heights and try running towards the throw. If your throws are weak find that person above and throw to moving targets. If your fitness isn't up to par, go for a run, mirror the stuff we do in practice (if you find it hard to get motivated ask someone to run with you), etc. And hell, if you have time, do it all. Nobody really enjoy's working on or even admitting their weaknesses but it's key to our development as individuals and as a team. As a team we aim to take our weakest players and make them our strongest, and as individuals we should strive to turn our weaknesses into strengths. Finally, if you ever have any issues or concerns with us or the team please do bring them up with us.

Moving on...I always find that having a good enthusiastic pre-game cheer helps to get everyone amped for the game. This is something I came up with tonight, and we'll try to come up with more stuff as we go.

I say...everyone says
WHO ARE WE? ... BREAKFAST!
WHAT ARE WE? ... CHAMPIONS!
WHO ARE WE? ... BREAKFAST!
WHAT'S BREAKFAST? ... BEAVER!

BOC ON D
A-B-C-D...B-O-C!
