Firstly, I forgot to do this on the field, but may I please get a spirit score outta 5 from each player. Post on the scribble or on the comments list. Thanks!!
Second, GREAT FIRST GAME!! We got a lil shakie when the team slapped us with the zone, but we pulled thru and played some great Ultimate. Taking from this game, our biggest weakness is breaking the zone defence. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to run thru zones @ our practices but we will be learning both zone defence, and offence ASAP. It will be one of the biggest part of Ultimate when the wind starts to blow. Our goal is to learn how to play Cup defence, to learn it well, and to perfect it by season's end.
So enough about basic boo boos. I just wanted to say how wicked it was to see the team gel, constantly adjusting to take what the defence is giving us, great flow, and those stacks in the endzone!!! :D Great cuts, great defence...and I think everyone had touches :)
Thanks ladies and gents, keep it up!
Bon

I'll give them a 5, especially after the touching captain's email. If you give a score lower than say 4 for any game, please note an explanation for why, ie "the incident where the girl killed bonnie and jumped up and down upon her broken body"
Also... I'd like to echo Bon's sentiment about the first game and the look of the team overall. All 3 of us are very impressed by both the starting level and the improvement in the team, even over such a short timespan. Hell of a way to start the season kids! Also Sean, way to catch my random hammer!
i'll give them a 5. good team to play against.
when i have time at work (i acutally do work) i'll put together a PPT describing about zone defense (that we will run) and zone offense (how to break).
it was impressive showing after our timeout that we executed what we discussed. i was happy.

Hey kids, I'll coax bon into posting this proper later on, but heads up on SUNDAY for anyone interested... TUC is running a skills clinic, free and open to all members. We don't all need to be there, but anyone looking to brush up on stuff or learn more skills than we have time to teach you should definitely go! I'll try to be there if I don't have work that day.
ALSO... Disciples of Love, a monday tier4 team, has offered to scrimmage with us on Sundays. I'd like to gather interest to see if we could field a team. Note in advance that on tourney weekends Bon, Eric, Myself, or a combo (or all 3) won't be out for Sundays, but that doesn't mean the rest of the team can't be.
I'll give em' a 5. In regards to the clinic this sunday, I unfortunately cannot make it due to work. As for the sunday scrims they sound like a good idea, however I am only avail on the sundays which I am not scheduled to work on (which could be every other weekend).
