Who:Shot in the Dark
What to Bring:LOTS OF WATER, and an alternative white. I'll be bringin' the jerseys

By car:

From the west end, or if the 404 is busy, take the 401 to Bayview Ave. Proceed north on Bayview Ave. until you hit Steeles Ave. Turn west (left) onto Steeles, and the school will be on the left hand side.

I feel horrible today and I don't think I am going to be able to play. If we are going to be close to defaulting, then let me know and I can come and just play D.

Jen

p.s. don't forgot to sign your name, we have no idea which "anonymous" said they prefer not to play

Anonymous said...

ok. here's a solution. i think anonymous should be eric.

Good game Breakfast! Offence was lookin snappy; mostly good flow, good cuts, and smart throws. We want to keep in mind taking a breath before you throw (jess suggested actually looking down at the disc to read whatever's on it and then back up) and cleaning up the field (few times we had people cutting each other off or clogging unnecessarily).

On defence, this was a team with virtually no short game, so our usually decent short D didn't have much to do. What they introduced for us though, was a deep threat. As Eric mentioned post-game, we want to make sure that the person covering the last receiver back is BACKING (ie standing deeper than) their player. Having several steps ahead to start with should allow us to keep up with deep cuts.

Other than that, welcome to tier7, BoC!

Congratulations beavers for making it to Tier 7.

New teams. New challenges. Same game plan. As long as we play our game, we should be fine. But last night, our opponent identified our weaknesses, and we must change this.

We must not be complacent. I'll be sending out a game 5 recap soon (tomorrow)

Cheers,
Eric
