FYI Fall Season & Tournaments

So fall season league wise...
Can't pool together a team; I have pently of boys, no girls...So every man for themselves fer the fall. However, I am looking to make this winter team happen. I'm sick of hat teams so hopefully we'll have enough core Breakfast of Champs players that are interested and maybe pick up one or two extras.

Also, the last leg of tournaments for the season are coming up.

  • Oktoberfest Waterloo, ON - October 15th-16th
    http://www.wods.ca/oktoberfest/

  • Goosebowl Kingston, ON - October 28th-29th
    http://www.goosebowl.blogspot.com/

Traditionally, both tournaments have held their own in competition and spirit. And have hosted the best parties. Honestly, bratwurst, beer, and polka @ Oktoberfest in Loo...and THE Hallowe'en party in Kingston...what more can I say :D

Let me know if your interested.

Good Beavers = Good Times :)

On behalf of Eric and I, we thank you boys and girls for a great season! It's been a fun summer with lots of insanity, shits n' giggles. Though our Tier 6 outtings were slighty shot, we did reach the goals set in the beginning the season. Had lots of fun in Tier 8 and Rocked Tier 7 with lots of spirit and smiles. I hope this season was a great learning experience and everyone enjoyed their time both on and off the field. I look forward to sharing the field with everyone again.

For those who missed the team dinner...we did awards... :)

    BOC's TUC SUMMER SEASON 2006

Most Spirited Player - Lise LaRoche; For always keeping your cool, playing with so much patience (especially when we look her off ;), always smiling, helping out on the sidelines, coaching the noobs, and always a pleasure to have on the field. (Lise I have a brand new disc waiting for you.)

Most Chilly Player - (2 way tie) Eco Seidle/Jax Lee; Always a pleasure on the and off the field. You guys just rock! Period.

Most Impressive Bid - Kieran Bol; off Bonnie's huck...Kieran jogs for the disc...stops...his defender stops...team yells @ Kieran...Kieran runs into the endzone...disc comes down hits him in the chin...Kieran lands on his back in the endzone with disc on his chest...Point fer the Beavs!

Most Improved Player - Allan Chow; Our very own Ultimate noobie...First day @ practice...couldn't throw fer shit, 'nuff said :) But seriously. You've soaked everything up like a sponge and it's effin' wicked!!

    ...and voted by the team
Most Valuable Player - Derek Densmore; Just because you keep so quiet, doesn't mean no one's watching :) Not only do you consistantly play well each game, you come out with an open mind and high spirits. Always wanting to play, wanting to learn and always playing hard. Keep up the good work & thanks for a great season!

    Congrats Everyone!!

I will speak to my Monday night captain about merging teams for fall outdoor. I'll send out emails to those who want to play. Also I'll occasionally update this site as tournments come and go during the fall and winter seasons so come check out postings!!

    Thanks a bunch!
    Cheers!
